Personality Summary: Amy is a shy, quiet bookworm who keeps mostly to herself and only speaks when she has something intelligent to say. She is the intelligence of the inner senshi team (just as Makoto is the strength, Mars is the psychic, Venus is the commanding and Moon is the loving). At one point in the second season, her smarts almost send her to Germany to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor (like her mother). At the last second, she aborts the flight and returns when she realizes how much she loves her friends. Ami is the reliable, responsible, strategically inclined brainiac who is always several chapters ahead of the class and who spends free time tutoring her friends (most especially the hopeless Usagi).
Love Life: Ami has an on-again, off-again relationship throughout Season 1 with Urawa (Greg [Dub]). They have a few cute moments together, but nothing that develops or lasts throughout the rest of the series. She also has a small flirtation with Kou Taiki (Sailor Star Healer) in Season 5, but that doesn't turn into anything either. (The following only occurs in the manga) In the past, during the Silver Millenium, Ami fell in love with General Zoisite - third in command to Prince Endymion. Their soulmate-level love is shattered when Zoisite is brainwashed by Beryl and sent to kill Sailor Mercury. He is reborn in the present like the rest of the Silver Millenium, but before he can search for his prince, he and his fellow generals fall to darkness and Beryl's power again.
