Personality Summary: Setsuna, like the other outer senshi, is driven by her mission as Sailor Pluto. She is the Guardian of Time, standing at the Gates of Time throughout eternity to ensure that no one disrupts the time stream. She doesn't age and has been around since the Silver Millenium when she counciled Queen Serenity. It is because of her solitary role that she, herself, is very detached. It is hard for her to make friends because she has learned not to get too close to people of any time for she will have to live long past their deaths. The only person she does befriend is Chibi Usa, who she becomes rather attached to and motherly towards when Neo-Queen Serenity falls comatose. She also spends a lot of time with Haruka and Michiru, especially after they adopt the baby-Hotaru and she becomes Setsuna-mama. Technically, she isn't supposed to ever leave her post, but she does in Season 3 because she believes the danger to the senshi to be too great without her assistance. By helping them, and remaining with them until the end in Season 5, she develops affection for her fellow senshi but is still predominantly the aloof, mature adult that she had been previously. It doesn't help that she's the oldest (as old as Mamoru) and sees the inner senshi as children. ^_-
Love Life: None to speak of. There isn't even a hint of a lover at anytime, not even in the manga. I believe this is because the Guardian of Time is supposed to remain alone, forever stoically guarding the gates from trespassers. Also, it would be hard to fall for someone whose life would feel like a second to Setsuna's eternity.
