Personality Summary: Minako is a live-wire 24/7. She's bouncy, happy, sporty and ready to do anything that requires movement. Her official role is that of leader of the inner senshi (Usagi being the leader of all the senshi) and when push comes to shove, she's the bravest of the bunch. She's an actress, signer, pre-madonna who can't get enough of the spotlight. She doesn't go to the same school as the other girls, but manages to see them as often as possible. Usagi is usually her partner in crime when it comes to pranks or acquiring a cute boyfriend (Minako is known for her valient, and frequent, attempts at playing Cupid - her senshi of love abilities come in handy here). The two are often jokingly called twins because of their similar appearance and their equally bubbly personalities. Minako's on-going joke is that she can't get a cliche right if her life depended on it.
Love Life: She's the beautiful, blonde ditz (ditzier than Usagi, if that's even possible) who gets hearts in her eyes at any man passing by. Boy-crazy doesn't even begin to describe her. Where Usagi is a romantic, Minako is the type who falls in love instantly and falls out of love almost as quickly. Every man she meets is a potential boyfriend. She's faithful in her crush to Motoki for the majority of seasons 1 and 2 and has to fight Makoto for his affections. In Season 5, she has a big crush on Yaten (one of the Starlights, a boy band that all of the inner senshi are crazed about), but nothing ever develops. (The following only occurs in the manga) In the past, during the Silver Millenium, Minako fell in love with General Kunzite - first in command to Prince Endymion. Their soulmate-level love is shattered when Kunzite is brainwashed by Beryl and sent to kill Sailor Venus. He is reborn in the present like the rest of the Silver Millenium, but before he can search for his prince, he and his fellow generals fall to darkness and Beryl's power again.
