A Wish Upon A Shooting Star

Chichi stood outside her humble home.  She glanced up at the stars each one sparkling with mystery and hope.  Yet, it was a hope built only for the stars for that emotion had died in her heart.  It had been a month since her only son and beloved husband had gone off to face the sinister beast known as Cell.  They both fought valiantly, yet only one was meant to return to her.  Her husband, Goku, left her that day, according to her son, by his decree.  He had saved the world with his sacrifice, an uncaring world that didn’t even recognize him for what he was, their savior, their hero.  Chichi thanked God every day that her son survived that ordeal, but an older and wiser son had came home to her not the little boy that had left confident in his father’s ability to save them all and unsure of the power he himself had lying inside.  She looked back at the dark house when she thought of her son.  He was asleep, his dreams colored with blood and death, not with sugarplums, toys, and all the dreams innocent boys of his age dream.  She felt a tear slip from her dark eyes and spill down her cheeks.  What they had lost that day, her Goku, her angel, he was beyond her reach now.  She looked back to the stars wondering if he was among them now, twinkling down at them, watching over them as he did in life.  Suddenly a star flew across the night’s sky living a trail of glittery stardust behind it.

“A shooting star”.  Chichi whispered to no one, to herself.

She closed her eyes remembering the riddle her mother once told her of shooting stars and wishes.

When a star dies and takes its flight

Its tears becoming a trail of sparkling light

The hopeful heart to see this sight

Makes a dreamer’s wish granted by the night

“I wish that if only for a night I could hold my husband I my arms again”.  She said wistfully looking up at the night’s sky.  She shook her head and thought herself foolish.

“Look at me”.  She thought. “Such foolishness.  Only grief would have me believing in wishes that will never come true.  If the Dragon Balls couldn’t bring my Goku back, a silly riddle certainly can not.”

She sighed and went into the house.  As she laid in her empty bed she again thought about her wish, her last thought before she drifted off to sleep.

“Chichi”.  A voice called waking her up immediately.

“Who’s there?”  She asked her voice shaking.  She sat up in the bed looking around the dark bedroom frantically, the sheet pulled up to her chin as if that could protect her from the intruder.  She saw nothing, only the darkness of the room and the light of the moon drifting through her window.

“Chichi”.  The voice said again and a hand gently touched her shoulder.  Chichi gasped from the shock of the touch and her mind began to recognize the voice even as she turned to see the one that touched her.  Then she paled for she indeed recognized the voice and the man that sat right beside her on her bed, their bed.  It was the object of her grief for the past couple of months and the answer to her wish, her husband, Son Goku.  He sat before her as he looked in life.  His cobalt eyes sparkling with merriment and mischief, his hair spiked, black and thick, wild about his head.  The only thing that was different about him was his clothes.  The outfit was made like his fighting gear yet it was pure white contrasting drastically with his raven hair and tanned skin.

Chichi wiped her eyes, believing herself dreaming.  She had had many a dream like this when her Goku was sitting before her but never this vivid, this real.

“I’m dreaming”.  She said looking at Goku sadly.  Oh how she wished it wasn’t a dream.

“It’s not a dream.  I’m here with you”.  Goku said smiling.

“You can’t be here. You’re dead”.  Chichi said fresh tears began to fall down her cheeks.

“Yes, that is true but I’m here just the same.”  He said and gently wiped a tear from Chichi’s eye.  She poked him with her finger, expecting her hand to go through him as it would a figment of the imagination.  Instead she felt strong, hard muscle and almost sprung her finger on his steely chest.

“This is impossible”.  She said wanting to throw herself in his arms but thinking maybe someone was playing a very cruel joke on her.

“Nothing’s impossible, with faith”.  He countered.  He wanted to gather her into his arms.  It had been so long since he held her but he knew she had to make the first step and that was acceptance.

“Well you sound like Goku.  He believed that faith could conquer all too but in the end his faith got him killed”.  She said bitterly, her words were cold though she said them softly.  Goku flinched inwardly at the sound of her voice, so empty, emotionless, so unlike the Chichi he knew who was so passionate.

“How can you be here?” She asked looking up at him with longing.

“Your wish, Chichi, is what brought me back to you.  Just for one night, remember, those were your words, it was your faith that made the wish come true”.  He said looking into those grief filled eyes.

She sucked in a breath and gently touched his cheek caressing him.  Her eyes flicked to his lips and she licked her own.  Goku, seeing this, couldn’t hold himself back anymore and softly kissed her lips.  Chichi moaned and pulled away from him.

“You are Goku.” She said looking into his eyes.

“Oh Goku!”  She cried throwing herself into his strong arms.  He held her as she wept her arms snaked around his neck as if she he would disappear at any moment.

“I’m here Chichi, at least for tonight”.  He said kissing her forehead.

Chichi said nothing content with being in his arms.  She would think about tomorrow later.  She had him now that was all that mattered.

He ran his hand down her back soothingly.  She looked into his eyes that looked down so lovingly into her own.  She pulled his head down to meet hers and kissed him passionately.  He quickly responded holding her tightly against him.  His tongue demanded entrance and she happily obliged.  He lowered them on the bed and again took her lips.  The kiss was filled with love and hunger, a hunger that had gone unfulfilled for so long.

“Chichi”.  He whisper breathlessly looking down at her.  “I’ve missed you so much. I love you”.  He said tears coming to his eyes.

Chichi put a finger to his lips preventing him from saying more.

“I love you too, Goku.  I’ll love you always”.  She said and slowly removed is shirt so she could feel the sinew muscles underneath.  He pulled her silky nightgown above her head and threw it dejectively to the floor.  Moments later her panties and his pants followed.  He ran his hands over her now naked body awaking her senses with his touch.  Her body wiggled beneath him unable to keep still from the pleasures he gave her.  Her hands did their own exploring, traveling over the well-charted path of his back and his buttocks.  When she began to massage his throbbing unit, however, he quickly removed her hands, not wanting to spill his seed before he gave her pleasure.  He kissed her lips and made his way to her neck and then lower to her perky breast.  He took one is his mouth suckling it and biting it at the same time.  She cried out from the feel of his velvety mouth against her hot skin. He went even lower past her belly button to the very thing that makes her a woman.  He looked up at her seductively and then kissed her there.  She cried out and felt herself lose it as an orgasm overtook her.  He took in her honey as if it were the sweetest desert and licked her clean.  Goku then meet her lips in another sizzling kiss.  She reveled at the taste of herself mixed with him and felt him move between her open legs positioning himself for entry into her channel.  He slowly moved into her leading them to a slow pace.  Chichi felt the fire build up inside her as she met his thrust with her own.  Together they moved in the ageless dance both crying out their pleasure to the empty room and the stars that brought them together.

“Oh Kami, Goku”.  Chichi breathed out as she reached her pinnacle.

“Chichi”.  Goku whispered he too reaching the point of no return.  Suddenly, Chichi gasped, the muscles inside her flower holding him tightly as she wrapped her legs around his muscular waist.  He moved within her once more and he too went over the top, His body trembled from the intense orgasm he shared with his wife.

He slowly pulled away from Chichi’s warm channel, totally spent.  He pulled her into his arms and held her as she basked in the afterglow of their lovemaking.

“I have to go my love”.  Goku said yet he made no attempt to separate himself from the black haired vixen.

“I know.  Can’t you stay until morning?  Gohan would love to see you”.  She said thinking of her poor son that still blamed himself for his father’s death.

“I’m sorry.” He said looking down at her, his usually cheerful eyes, uncharacteristically sad.

She held him tighter as if that along could prevent him from leaving her.

“Please, Goku, don’t leave me again”.  She said burying her head in his chest.

“I’ll never really leave you, Chichi.  I’m always with you and Gohan, even if you can’t see me, I’m always here”.  He said pointing at her heart.

“Nothing can ever truly take me away from you, not even death.  We’ll be together again, I promise”.  He said softly.  He noticed that she had stopped crying and now lay very still on his chest.  He knew she was asleep.  He looked down at her sleeping face and slowly pulled himself from under her, careful not to wake her.  He now stood beside her bed, his white uniform back in place.

He gently pulled the covers over her nude form.

“Good-night sweet Chichi.  Always have faith in me, for I will come back to you, I promise”.  He said looking down at his beloved.

A white glow appeared around him almost as his ki would.  This energy did not belong to the warrior, but to a being much older than the Universe itself.  The radiance filled the room and silver wings appeared on the Goku’s back.

“Good-bye”.  He whispered as the light took him back to the Heaven he had come from.  As an angel he had come to grant his wife’s heartfelt wish and with that wish to give back to her the hope of the stars, that had died along with him that faithful day.
