Why Barbarians Dislike Celestial Magic

It is told by Cormyns people that many many years ago..like lots of years..the Barbarian people were suffering from a great sickness. Kind of like that Dark Elf plague Cormyn helped put a stop to a few years back. But this plague had no cure, none that any of the shamans could come up with. Thousands of Barbarians died, not like true warriors but like sick old men..the worst way to die by Barbarian beliefs. The High Chief of a prominent clan cried out for an answer to save his people. Before him two incarnations appeared. The incarnation of Celestial Magic and the incarnation of Earthen Magic. The chief asked them if they had the power to cure his people, when he asked the Incarnation of Celestial magic she..um he..thing...it told him that it could provide the cure, but for a price. It stood stiff necked and straight back and didn't even bother to look at the sick barbarian chief and demanded that his people worship it, and dedicate their entire culture to it. It was not going to help without recieving something in return. The second incarnation was Mother Tyrra herself, she reached down and with her soft hands helped the proud chieftan to his feet. She smiled softly at him and with her voice, as beautiful as new fallen snow said to him "I will heal your people, I ask for nothing in return. I have seen your pride and it inspires me." With that she kissed his forehead and the plague was erased from Tyrra. The proud High Chief watched his people rise from what was soon to be their open graves. They stood tall and proud, children laughed again and the plague was truely destroyed. The chieftan looked again upon Mother Tyrra and said "You have healed my people, and you ask for nothing?" and Mother smiled at him and nodded. The incarnation of Celestial magic scoffed and vanished, bitter at it's failed plan to enslave the barbarian race. The chief, tears streaming down his face bowed to her immediately as did his entire clan..as did every barbarian on Tyrra bound by the spirit that unites them all, even those not in the area they all saw it and they all bowed and they all took the oath. "We dedicated ourselves to you. Our Pride is now eternally bound to your glory...we swear it"

And thus every barbarian took the oath at that exact moment. They swore their lives, and their childrens lives and their pride to Tyrra. Any barbarian who practices the use of Celestial Magic is seen as to have broken that oath and thus broken their pride and thus turned from their people.
