The Tale of Falmir

When the season turned and Harvest was upon them ~ they that dwelt there weild’d not their scythes nor gather’d grain. ‘Twas sword and shield to Harvest lifesblood in its stead ~ as Beings stormed the hillsides ~ slaying as they came.

The Beings Chaos made war upon his towne ~ and all that liv’d sought Shield in the Circle of Healer Falmir. Whilst those about him wore eyes of fear ~ Falmir was as the Towne’s Stone Tower.

A score of Chaos Beings rag’d ‘round the Circle of Falmir ~ scream’d ~ and danc’d ~ they forged a Circle of Chaos ‘round the foiling Earth Circle..Then lo ~ the Circle of Falmir came to naught ~ and with great Cries the Beings as Swords and Dagg’rs fell upon him.

Nay ~ ‘twas not Falmir they sought ~ nor gold ~ nor goods. ‘Twas his perfection - Pyramid!. Though small to hand ~ ‘twas great in Power ~ and fear’d by all things Chaos.

Falmir laid low ~ his bones shatter’d ~ the Beings shriek’d in glee. Pyramid Snatched from the Healer’s still hand ~ the Beings beheld the Tower. Borne to height ~ the Beings cast down their Bane ~ ‘til at last ~ it shatter’d upon the Stone.

~ ~ ~ ~

Four were the Shards held aloft ~ their victory complete. The air like water as Chaos vanish’d ~~ Shards and all with them ~~ All was stillness ~ and Townsfolk mourned as Chaos laughter faded into sunset.
