Battleround
Objective: To be the first team to score 15 goals by hand carrying the ball into the opposing team's end zone which is designated by two goal markers.
Rules
1. Each Battleround team shall have no more than eight members at any one time. Five are on the field at any one time, one healer/medic, and two substitutes who are only permitted to join the game if tagged in. Should one of the eight core team members become unable to play because of serious injury or permanent death, approved alternates are registered with the Entertainer's Guild and a selection must be made from that list.
2. Ball is tossed into play, onto the field at your tea's end zone to one of your teammates and get the ball down to the other side of the field as quickly as possible. The opposing team may use weapons, gasses, and spells to prevent the player with the ball from getting to the end zone. No player may engage another player in combat unless they have the ball.
3. Four attempts to score goal. As soon as the ball hits the ground or the carrier is stopped, the set ends.
4. After each goal or at the end of four attempts, the opposing team gets the ball in an attempt score a goal.
5. The healer/medic may run onto the field at any time to heal any of their team members who have been hurt. If the referee has to life a team meber, that person is out for the rest of the match. [Substitutes may be used but alternates from the Guild list may not be called upon.]
6. Handicaps are assigned by the referee and may be based upon licenses and work permits of the players and the referee's judgment. The Entertainer's Guild, upon registration of each team will then determine a handicap for the team. This handicap reduces the number of goals that the team must score in order to win the game.
