I am not too sure under which outfit category to include this 'black dress',  thus the label 'Others'.  I meant to make something antique in black  with small puffed sleeves, but somehow using black gingham fabric as part of the outfit made this dress looked more like a party outfit!

The puffed up or 'umbrella effect' of the skirt part is caused by making too much gathers, plus the cloth is cotton drill.  Three layers of pin tucks are also sewn on the skirt. 

Choker with beads is a gift from a collector friend.
