1. Digital Video Camera

It is also called camcorder.Have function as visual recorder with method recording visual to be digital then keep it in the magnetik tape (cassete tape).there are many kind of cassete tape like Betacam, mini DV, D-VHS,DVC-Pro, And VHS.

2. Capturing Video

video must be transferred to hardisk PC, so that we can edit it. this proses called Capturing. we need video capture card as tool that used for capturing. generally,this card installed in the PCI slot on the motherboard. this card must be according with port/interface on your camcorder.IEEE 1394 or Firewire is standart video capture card that used by many people.

3. Capturing Audio

with sound card that instaled in motherboard, we can capture audio from eksternal audio resources then convert it to be digital audio.

4. Editing Audio and Video

to edit digital sound and audio ,we needed two kind software that is audio editing software and video editing software.

Some of audio editing software that are Sonar, adobe audition, cool edit pro, sony sound forge, and goldwave.

Some of video editing software : Uleadvideo Studio, adobe preimere, Targa2000, Final cut pro and pinacle studio.

- Processor intel pentium III 800Mhz, or equivalent

- Hardisk, 7200 rpm with free space minimum 20 gb.

- VGA card 32 Mb (resolution 1024x 768)
