The position light on the SF260D is an older version and you might do well to simply replace it with an A650-PG or PR. This cost is $143 and gives you new parts. Replacing the individual parts will cost $35 for the base + $56 for the strobe + $11 for the bulb + $15 for the lense + for the lense holder assembly and strobe cover. $69. It would have been a lot cheaper for me because I had to order the parts twice. First they sent the parts for the new position light which I do not have and so I had to look the parts numbers up myself and reorder them.

When the strobe burns out it frequently shorts out the transformer and neither strobe will work. Here are the part numbers and pitfalls in repairing the strobe. The position light bulb is PN: W1290
W1284 [R] or [G] for red or green. The lense is very fragile.

When reinstalling the canopy you can look at the inspection port and tell if the control rod is far enough back to enenge the locking pins.
