To become a member of the Special Forces Association, you are required to provide supporting documentation to demonstrate that you are eligible. Below are some examples: For Decade and General Members: Supporting documents must accompany all applications submitted. Examples of documents are DD-214, Graduation Certificate from SFQC/SFOC, orders assigning a SF MOS, and/or assignment orders to a Special Forces Unit. For Associate Members: Supporting documents must accompany all applications submitted. Examples of documents are DD-214 and/or assignment orders to a Special Forces Unit or operations in direct support of Special Forces Operations. Applications received without documentation will be returned as incomplete.
