In his only season as Mariners' Head Coach, Frank Unterholzner led the
Mariners to a Parkland Conference title. The Mariners finished 13-3 in
conference.
The Mariners were led by forward John Osep, who was one of the leading
scorers in the Parkland conference (perhaps the leading scorer?). John's
single game high of 38 points is a school record. For his efforts,
John was named first team All-Parkland conference.
Other Mariners contributing to the conference title were center Pete Krecak, forwards Tim Noonan, Dan Dorlack, Bob Lech, and Greg Wynn, and guards Jimmy Dorlack, Greg Barrett, Mike Calteaux, Jamie Ramel, Claude Michalski, and Neil Markowski. Pete Chilson and Chuck "Chico" Liska handled the managerial duties for the Mariners.
