Six Flags Over Georgia honors America’s Armed Forces for Independence Day


Active military and reservists receive discounts and free admission on select service days

UPDATE: Mr. Six will visit the park Friday, July1, 2005. With his appearance comes an additional exclusive discount for ALL military. Active, retired, and reservists from ALL branches of the United States Armed Forces will receive admission for only $6 on July 1, 2005 from 10 a.m. until noon ONLY.

To receive this discount, present your up-to-date military identification at any ticket booth at Six Flags Over Georgia. Mr. Six’s Six Dollar Special is available only to those with a current active, reserve, or retiree ID card issued by the United States Army, Marine Corps, Navy, or Coast Guard. This discount is available until NOON on July 1. Each service member may purchase up to four additional tickets for immediate family members for $6 each during this period as well.

Atlanta | Six Flags Over Georgia gives thanks to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces during Military Appreciation Week, June 27 – July 4, 2005. In honor of their hard work and sacrifice, the park is offering military families a well-deserved break including FREE playtime.

From June 27 to July 4, active members of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard can receive half off one-day admission to the park. To redeem this discount, active service members, reservists, or spouse must show a current military ID June 27 | July 4 at any Six Flags Over Georgia ticket booth to receive tickets for themselves and immediate family at a discounted rate of $21.99 plus tax.

In addition to this weeklong discount program, Six Flags Over Georgia will be holding select free admission days for each branch of service. During each service day, members of that particular branch of the armed forces may receive free admission for themselves and immediate family members (up to five tickets total).

Individual service days are:

  • Army Day - Monday, June 27
  • Marine Corps Day - Tuesday, June 28
  • Navy and Coast Guard Day - Wednesday, June 29
  • Air Force Day - Thursday, June 30
(*ALL BRANCHES - ACTIVE, RESERVISTS, RETIRED - $6 admission - Friday, July 1, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. ONLY)

Active service members, reservists, or spouse may show a current ID card at any Six Flags Over Georgia ticket booth to receive up to 5 free tickets total on their select service day.
