On Saturday, September 6, 2003, hundreds of pets and their owners will hightail it to Six Flags Over Georgia for the Atlanta Humane Society's 13th annual Pet Parade - A Walk for Animals. Be a part of Atlanta's largest pledge walk for pets as you take time out this summer to support the thousands of animals in our community who don't have people of their own!

Everyone's Invited All pets are welcome at the Pet Parade. You can even walk in recognition of your favorite animal friend by wearing a special badge provided. Pets are not allowed in the park itself. Please plan to enjoy the rides on another day without your pet.

JOIN THE FUN The Pet Parade promises to be a tail-waggin' good time! Come at 7:30 a.m. to enjoy the following activities:

Free Krispy Kreme Doughnuts & Beverages

On-site microchipping

Demonstrations by Canine Academy & Playschool and Greater Atlanta Dog & Disc Club

Contests for Pet/Owner Look-A-Like, Best Trick, Best Bark and Newspaper Fetch

Games, including Doggie Musical Chairs, Doggie Limbo and Bobbing for Burgers

Paw Print tile making

Souvenir Photos (for a nominal fee)

Face Painting
