...A Walk Down Memory Lane...

That is how Senior Minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, remembers my granddaddy. Taking a walk down my memory lane, I saw precious moments of his life which I had hardly notice when he was still around me. Taking deep breaths as I take a walk down the memory gallery and gather them preciously into my arms, I made a silent wish that there is still a tomorrow in everything...

First man from the left is my granddaddy, Mr Tan Bah Chee and the man in the middle is Ex-President, Mr Ong Teng Chong.

This photo was taken when Mr Ong Teng Chong came to visit the Pasir Panjang constituency. Granddaddy take on the roles of a PPA, PBM and BBM (Outstanding Public Service Awards) to show Mr Ong Teng Chong around.

Granddaddy is the man whom I set as an example in life. Stepping behind him, following his path would be the goal of my life and proudest moments to mention.

Granddaddy was also invited to my secondary school, Hong Kah Secondary School on 5th of November 1998, as part of our post-examinations program.

Granddaddy engrossed in his tricks with the most enchanting smile ever captured on film...

This is also my favorite photo of my collection of granddaddy. The smile on his face captured the whole of my heart, a smile that I would never ever forget.

Granddaddy had been highly involved in charity programs with a group of entertainers from all circles. A group of people formed from the bottom of their hearts, bring uproars of laughers, love and care for the less fortunate.

Granddaddy together with a group of entertainers form a social charity group call "Loving Group". Together they visited old folks home and handicap institutions to perform.
