FIXED END BEARING PADS
These consists of a Hi-Bridge which is designed to cater for vertical
loading and rotational deflections.
Horizontal forces at the fixed end can be resisted if required, by
utilizing dowels placed between the pads or pass through them. |
FREE END BEARING PADS
Free end bearing pads come in two parts. The lower unit consists of a
P.T.F.E faced Hi-Bridgepad. The P.T.F.E is bonded to a stainless sub-strate
which is in turn bonded to the Hi-Bridge Pad. The upper unit comprises a
corrosion protected mild steel backing plate faced with stainless steel.

Side Restrained Bearing
These special free end bearings allow sliding movement in one direction
only. They are used in a bridge structure where sliding movement is to
be restricted to the longitudinal direction only. They are used resist
transverse horizontal force.

HI-BRIDGE LAMINATED BEARING
Consist of either natural rubber or neoprene rubber pad, with 1 to 5
layers of mild steel plate lamination.

HI-BRIDGE SLIDING LAMINATED
BEARING PAD
Same structure as the laminated bearing pad but the top and bottom
surface are covered by silicon carbide coated steel, and then covered by
stainless steel and PTFE material.

HI-BRIDGE PLAIN BEARING PAD
Made of natural rubber or neoprene rubber. |
