Akane Himegami

Personal Information

Akane Himegami (姫神 茜, Himegami Akane), Hair Color: Brown, Seiyuu: Mitsuo Iwata, Former Butler of Nagi Sanzen'in

Himegami was Nagi's butler before Hayate. Judging from the way Nagi and Maria speak of him, he was fired partially due to him always hitting Nagi back whenever she would hit him, a problem related to Nagi's personality traits. At first, neither Nagi nor Maria want to elaborate on his departure. However, it is thought that he is rather close to Nagi. He wrote a book on how a butler can acquire a one-hit kill technique, but later Nagi burnt the book. Maria addresses him with the title "-kun", which means he is probably around Hayate and Maria's age. He finally makes his first appearance, but with his face obscured by the shadows. He returns once more wearing a mask. His face is partially shown later. He insists that he will be called "Princess God" (in English) rather than Himegami while he wore a mask, which is coincidentally a direct translation of his surname.

The reason for his return is because he wishes to obtain the ultimate butler uniform in his quest to summon the legendary god butler dragon. He uses Hayate who has been stripped of his power by Kirika or to be specific, her giant snake, Jormungandr , which is actually Kirika's plan to make Hayate hers. She then use a photograph taken after she and her cyborg butler defeated Hayate to blackmail him, saying that if he does not come to them willingly, they will expose this picture and obtain Nagi's financial assets. When Hayate did followed their orders, he found himself being selected to don the ultimate butler uniform and serve Kirika forever. But Nagi's intervention and Hayate's determination to escape this fate allowed the ultimate butler unfiorm to acknowledge Hayate, allowing the combat butler to make use of its enormous power to defeat Kirika and company. Once that is done, the ultimate butler uniform removed itself from Hayate and is then captured by Himegami later.
