Today we met Dr. Meier & he passed onto us the "Task Description". It was in German & he asked us to translate it into English. We also went to Ms Rosemann's International Student Office to get our insurance registered & get our matriculation number. After lunch, we went to the town house to register ourselves as residents of Lemgo. Following this we went to the Sparkasse bank to open an account. I deposited €400 inside it.

The hardware needed to train us has arrived & we brought them into our lab. Since it was the "Day of the open door", Dr. Meier suggested that we walk around the campus to learn more about the other courses. In the evening there was a "Chinese Evening" where all the Chinese students cooked a dish & gathered. That was a very good event & we got to know a few more people.
