Mr Hadi is back! Now I have to look busier when at my desk. I connected & configured the Westermo modem. At one moment it worked! I took down the parameters. Since it worked, this gave me energy to try to make the Phoenix contact modem in the working order.

The Phoenix Contact modem was delivered. I configured it and fixed the test rack. I tried to make the system work but I couldn't make any progress.

Dissatisfied with my progress I decided to use back the Westermo modems. I fixed up the test track but it didn't work with the Westermo modem. I wanted to trace back my route but now I am really lost.

Nothing special hapened in Germany today although something big happened in the cowboy's land two years ago. My supervisor, Mr Hadi, interviewed my partner and I today. He did this because my lecturer wanted him to assess us for our interim progress.

Mr Hadi gave us another test case. It was concerning motor control. He wanted us to learn how to control the motor from a computer. He guided us through the basics and I started my reading up on PCP communications.

I visited Hannover and Hamburg with 3 other Singapore students, all doing their attachment in Germany. We slept over in Hamburg.

Early this Sunday morning we woked up and went to visit the Hamburg fish market. It was really an eye-opener and we got good seafood, good fruits and even some special souvenirs. Later we went to Bremen and watched the musical about the Town Musicians. After a tiring weekend we seperated at Osnabruck and returned home to get ready for the coming week.
