Canberlin Lodge, Geylang and Around First
of all, thanks for your interest in the apartment. Canberlin
Lodge is located at Geylang Lor 6 which is at the start of the Gelyang area,
near the end of Nichole Highway. There
are 3 other residential apartment namely Crystal Mansion, SunFlower Court n
Torrie View Apartment situated along this stretch of road. There
are 4 rooms in this apartment n all have attached/private bathroom. Each room is
decorated in a cosy manner, fully furnished with bed and mattress,
build-in wardrobe, television set, SCV connection n also a private phone connection. The
kitchen is for common usage equipped with a microwave, cooking stove n also a
fridge. The washing area comes with a washing machine n a dryer for
common usage. The existing tenants, 2 couples from Philippines, 1
gentleman from Indonesia and 1 gentleman from India, are all young working
professionals and responsible people. Canberlin
Lodge is located on the outskirts of the Central Business district n the nearest
MRT station is Kallang station n its within walking distance. The
bus services are also very convenient n it only takes around 15-20 mins to reach
the areas of Shenton Way, Suntec City, Tanjong Pagar. Popular places
like Orchard Road, Clark Quay, Boat Quay n The Esplanade are also within reach
by buses in short n convenient times. Geylang
area is a very colorful landscape with neon lights, fill with plentiful of food
outlets and entertainment outlets. It is home to many nice n tasty
local food delicacies like frog legs porridge, fried beef noodles,
famous Singapore chili crabs, oyster omelette n many more. Many book
publications have mentioned Geylang as a place famous for tasty n nice food. Other
than tasty food, Geylang is also infamous for its tag as a red light district
but then be rest assured that those activities are done in a hush-hush manner n
are concentrated at other parts of Gelyang namely Lorong 10 onwards. |
