This is my first beloved car which i have driven it for only about 2 years during my army days after which it was sold

    

TOYOTA COROLLA 1.6l GLXI Manual 92model SOHC (Single Over Head Cam) Saloon car

IT was quite a reliable car then, no major problems until I started pushing it to limits.

Setbacks : -

I made a total of 5 minor scratches and dents to it and 1 major accident during the 2 years.

1st - Bumped into a parked car from its back (forgot what car that is) at Marina Square in front of the Bubble Tea house, oh man! so malu, alot of people watching sia, the worst came when the owner is there.( Somemore i haven't got my license yet. haha) Luckily he let me off when i gave him a pathetic look on my face. I ended up with a cracked number plate.

2nd - Scratched by my camp mate's army vehicle when i overtaken him on a merging lane (act hero lor, think car very fast lor). Holy shit!, it made a few fucking long scratches & cuts onto my left door and had to spend...well i actually bought a can of spray to cover it up juz to cut cost.  : )  we are still friends after that! 

3rd - Rubbed real hard against a stupid metal pole in a petrol kiosk (How the fuck it happened??? can you drive???) , why?why?why?  because it is in the night!, when i did a 3pt turn in a fucking small space which is dark. (Actually i reversed too fast... keke trying to act fast lor). 

4th - Huh! This is a damn stupid & costly one, not done by me, but by my camp mate. It happened in my camp at night when i was doing duty. I just finished washing and waxing my beloved car which took me 2 hours, and this fellow came to kepo lor, ask me about my car lor, how good lor, very nice lor, & physco me to let him test drive lor. Well, i think there shouldn't be any harm letting him drive one round around my camp area which is small. Sooooo i let him try it lor (He bo license one) . I placed my hand on the handbrakes in case of emergency, he started the engine and i taught him how to engage gear la, bla bla bla.... and we had to do a 2pt turn to get out of the slot. Eventually we moved off with a reverse, i suddenly remembered i  parked my 1.5 Ton army truck behind my car (My duty vehicle) (again WHY the fuck you park it behind your car???) because i need it to block the view of the guards, not wanting them to see me washing my car. NOW, i turned to him and said "watch out for that truck", then he said "Huh? What?", i said " BRAKE BRAKE BRAKE" "got car" "got car"......he looked down on the peddles wondering what to do, his legs aren't listening , glued to the gas peddle!!!...............What happens next you know liao...........My boot was crashed inwards, i had to tie a string to stop it from opening up. How i am going to settle this disaster is classified. One thing i want to add is i didn't beat him up nor fucked him upside down, i actually consoled him cause he gave me a "pathetic" look. .....Seldom talk to each other after the incident.

5th - I braised my car against the kerb inside UDMC chalet when negotiating a turn, heng ah! only a bit scratch only on my front bumper.....phew.....(again , how the hell it hit the kerb?) The fucking kerb was sooooo high and my car is actually been lowered (make it stable when cornering) , so that is why lor..... : (    

The major one - It happened when i & my friend,William (another car, Honda CRX) was on our way to pick up a friend (Kelvin lor), to go watch the Kallang Carpark Rally at the stadium there. While on our way to fetch him, we encounter a Mazda 323 (Big backside model), it was a young couple, I started to tail-gate it because i hate this particular design of Mazda car. The sight of its big backside made my blood boil, tail-gating targeted cars is my natural reflexes................. I disturbed them for less then a 100m before i crashed into their rear when they suddenly came to a stop on a CLEAR road, then my friend following me also crashed into my rear, me being sandwiched. FUCK man!, the road was clear only to my sight, because the Mazda's big fucking backside blocked my view and i never expected it to stop before a GREEN LIGHT. The impact and damaged done was serious to both mine and my friend's car, but minor to that Mazda, fortunately nobody was hurt. The repairs were a 5 digit amount and left permanent scars to it. Sigh! what a bad day, luckily the car was still able to fetch a good price when i sold it 6 months later.  (This accident happened 3 months before the 4th minor accident, poor car) Who to blame? well , blame ourselves lor!

Modifications :-

When i was "P" plate,

Started with changing the spark plugs to split-fire (twin head) and the spark plug cable to 2.5mm, to increase performance in burning and power (I feel no difference le). Done in JB, introduced by who? Bovin and William lor. I haven't got the guts to test its top speed, only tried till 160km/h (my legs were trembling then).  0-100km/h timing was 11sec+

Went to a garage somewhere in Eunos to change exhaust pipe. First time i can blow at people with my exhaust pipe after changing it to a loud one (Encouraged by Bovin and William lor). Wow the sound of my exhaust was very shiok when the RPM reaches above 5000rpm. I could feel the power increment and the sound makes you want to speed. Till now i could only do a 180km/h top speed , 0-100km/h timing 9sec+  

 

 

  Changed Exhaust Pipe 

Few months later, fitted Hot-bits racing spring, for lowering and stiffer suspension to negotiate corners in a more stable way in higher speed (suggested by William also). It was fun then, no more hard swaying and skidding off lanes at corners. And fitted spot lights to brighten up the view at night.

And finally, pasted those stickers for show and bought a K&N air filter to complete the basic modifications. Those blue sticker & linings are done by Bovin at Nee Ann Polythenic at night. Well, the racing air filter did improve my top speed, able to do about 207km/h (I'am not talking cock hor! Its true) , but fuel consumption was very high, can only go 200+ km with full tank, original consumption was able to travel up to more than 400km of mileage.

 

 

 

 

As you can see, I'am not a law breaker by nature, those names I mentioned are the bad guys that made me do it ! hahaha


Racing :-

 

With all these modifications, i was able to outrun most saloon (so call family car) cars or even cars with DOHC (Double Over Head Cam) or Twin Cam engines (in either pick-up or long distance). But still smell smoke of those sports cars, (Those that i have tested with). 

The comparisons below are resulted through encounters, not meant to offend anybody or make fun of, the make and models of any cars & their performance, it is strictly for leisure only!!! 

Most cars are either fully or basic modified :- pick-up is from 0-100km/h, (measured by number of car length) 

I have either outrun or even matched with the cars below, they could have gave in to me, thought I was in a hurry, their vehicle malfunctioned, see my car no up, not in the mood, license got no more points liao, or call they are smaller CC engines.......
