The Diamond Viper V330 is powered by the Riva128 chipset. If you want to learn more about the technical aspect of this card and what software/games comes bundled with it, hop on down to Diamond Multimedia.
This card is a 2D/3D card. That means this graphics card can be used for normal 2D applications (office applications) and for 3D applications (games). This card is great for Direct3D games, with fantastic 3D scores. However, for games that uses OpenGL, it might be a bit slow. Maybe it is due to the fact that the OpenGL drivers are still quite new. The 2D performance of this card is one of the best too! Take note that some games need some special patches in order to work with the Riva128 chipset.
I have ran some benchmarks on this card. I think it will be best if you have the AGP Diamond Viper V330, together with at least 10ns 64MB SDRAM for maximum performance. Of course now, with the Riva TNT, this card is almost obselete!
Take Note: This card needs some changes to the BIOS. An IRQ needs to be assigned to the display adaptor. This card might not work with the older motherboards.

Note: The Nvidia 2.0 Reference drivers are faster for Direct3D but it seemed that it's slower for OpenGL. The newest Nvidia drivers are slower in both Direct3D and OpenGL (except for Wintune benchmarks). The Nvidia 2.77 drivers seems to be slower in everything except for the Wintune Benchmarks.
