Keeping | These are one of the hardiest of the gold fishes. These are said to have
originated in USA. These fish are single tailed flat bodied fishes that are
ideally streamlined for fast swimming and to live in streams that have strong currents. These are excellent competitors for food and should not be kept with their slow moving fancy relatives. These are easy to care
for. Comets are very much like Common Gold fish, except that they are longer and sleeker and have more exagerated
fins. The fins are almost twice the size of Common Gold fish and tail fin is especially beautiful. They come in
silver, yellow and metallic orange colours or a mixture of these. They are ideal for ponds and indoor fish tanks. Life expectancy is 5 to 10 years. These are somewhat smaller than Common Gold fishes.
Extremely fast swimmers and very competetive. They do better in ponds than in
in-door aquariums. They can withstand wide temperatures and are ideal for outdoor ponds
