* One Cake *
we said
we were not going to get a cake to celebrate Qile's 6-months' birthday...
but....we did! anyway, it's also an early Mother's Day cake! hee hee!
my
very first
Mother's Day is coming up in a week's time on 11 May 2003!
i love being a mom, it's really my biggest accomplishment in life!
Qile can't say I Love You Mommy! yet
but whenever he gazes at me while nursing
and then flash me that megawatt smile
of his, i feel thanked enough...
there are so many things i love about my little baby:
his
happy eyes, he smiles with his eyes!
his infectious gummy smile & hearty laughter
his balding patch at the back of his head where no hair is growing!
his short little stubby legs kicking me to propel himself forward
his wobbly stance when he's trying to sit up on his own
his absolute love for water and bath time
how he leans so comfortably on me when i EC him
how he lights up when Daddy's home!
how tightly he clings on to Daddy during their bonding time
his
sleepy face when he doesn't want to sleep
his sleepy face just as he drifts off to sleep
i
could go on & on...
Baby Qile, you are the
light in Mommy & Daddy's life!
