ef - A Tale of Memories

The anime revolves around two protagonists, Hirono Hiro and Asou Renji. On Christmas Eve, Hirono Hiro meets a girl named Miyamura Miyako who was chasing a purse snatcher. Hiro later finds out that Miyako also goes to the same school as he does and they start hanging out together. This made Hiro's childhood friend, Shindou Kei, feel left out. Kei then tries to compete with Miyako for Hiro's affection and a love triangle ensues. The anime also tells the story of Asou Renji. Renji meets a girl named Shindou Chihiro at an abandoned train station. He soon learns that Chihiro suffers from a type of amnesia where her memory span only lasts for 13 hours. He also discovers Chihiro's dream of writing a novel, but she has never been able to fulfill that dream due to her condition. Renji then decides to help her fulfill that dream.

Ergo Proxy

In a world where humans and androids, known as autoraves, live in relative peace, there exists a domed city named "Romudo".

Under the implementation of complete management control, it is a paradise where feelings are literally discarded, and the governing council dictates the way of life the citizens should live. But this utopian landscape is soon broken by a series of mystifying murders. Lir Mayer, a female inspector from the Citizen Information Bureau, along with her autorave partner Iggy, are tasked to solve the murder cases.

She is soon attacked by a creature drawn to her which is neither human nor android, and learns about the mysterious phenomena called "Awakening", an event which draws her further into the case...and to the world beyond the limits of Romudo. (from Anime News Network)

Ergo Proxy is actually behind all the happenings. However, it's all started with Ergo Proxy which has made a decision to leave behind his memory of Romudo to search for a new life. And the substitue Ergo Proxy has became is Vincent Law.

Vincent has like Lir at first sight, thus, it leads Lir into the affairs. Unknown to Lir that actually, Gods have involves with the proxy too. Confusion, betrayal, uncertainty, to adventures, understanding, and realization... leading both Vincent and Lir to see and know the truth.

Fortunately enough, Vincent and Lir ended all and leave Romudo in search of another adventure...

Fate / Stay Night

Shirou Emiya lost his parents in a fire when he was young and was later adopted by a sorcerer by the name of Kiritsugu Emiya.

Although he was full of admiration for his adopted father and yearns to become an ally of justice, Shirou has limited powers and was unable to become a strong sorceror like his father. That is until one fateful day, he was drawn into the Holy Grail War and had to summon a female "Servant" known as Saber in order to protect himself.

It turns out that the Holy Grail War involves a series of battles among powerful sorcerers to fight for the possession of a relic that will grant one's wishes, the Holy Grail.

There are altogether seven "Masters" who can summon their respective "Servants" from different classes known as Saber, Archer, Rider, Berserker, Lancer, Caster and Assasin. All along, Shiro doesn't like the idea of killings. However, as he finds that there is no any other way as in order to protect the others, Saber and himself, he started prepares for the fights.

In fact, as the fights proceed on till the end, Shiro and the rest eventually knows that this war is a intention brought by the priest who is one of the the sorcerers. And, he is owning the powerful servant Hero who defeated Saber during the last war. However, this time round, Saber has found her lost sword shield and this increases her god weapon's power and bring down Hero. As Saber has the Holy Grail, everything ended and she returns her world as a king. She returns her god sword and she died. Recca is a boy living in the modern world, only he seems drawn to following the ways of the ninja. On the day he befriends a girl named Yanagi who has a mysterious power of healing, he is confronted and challenged by a Dark Priestess.

This battle leads Recca to discover a strange power within himself. Afterwards, he finds that not only is his past and destiny not as crystal clear as he had thought, but there are others with powers practicing the way of the ninja who challenge him one after another.

Surprisingly, an outcast which is the cat, also appears to be one of the animals.

Fushigi Yugi

Miaka Yuuki, an average middle school student caught up in studying for exams, is sucked into an ancient Chinese novel titled "The Universe of Four Gods".

There she discovers that she is in an ancient country in what is now China, Konan, and is to be the Priestess of one of the four gods, Suzaku.

As the priestess, her duty is to gather the Seven Seishi of Suzaku, who are to be her protectors. Once they are gathered, the priestess will summon the god Suzaku and bring peace between the warring lands, Konan and Kutou.

But it's harder than it seems. Along the road, many hardships are faced, as Miaka's best friend Yui Hongo enters the book and becomes her rival, the priestess of Seiryuu in the land of Kutou. Who summons their god first is up to the courage and skill of the priestesses and their seishi, as they meet triumphs and tragedies along the way.
