Have You Seen June? Written by Boaz (3A5 2003)

Remember June, the cat? She's been looking out of our windows, raising her haunches and wanting us to rub her back. Then, just last night, my family had a reunion dinner. When my mother opened the door, a rocket-like cat shot straight out of the door and down the stairs. You see, we live in Block 877, so Rocket Cat went to Orchid Park Condo and she was gone! So, today, my father, my sister and I, armed with June's favourite toy and a pair of binoculars, searched around the neighbourhood and even in Orchid Park, desperate to find her but we finally had to have dinner so we all went back. June looked out of the windows to plan an escape, but do you know why she wanted to go out? Here's the reason. Cats raise their haunches because they have sexual urges and when cats mate, the male would sit on the female and June is a female! She has been recently watching a big brown male cat aka Bobby Brown. I was very disappointed that I couldn't find June so I had to listen to classical music to calm down. It was soothing and nice but an advertisement came on. Hopefully, June comes back. Someone should know she's not a stray because of her collar. It is decorated with four noisy bells.
