Boy Rescued From Drowning Written by Calvin

One fine day, my family went to the beach for an outing since it was the June holidays. We were having a picnic when I heard a cry for help. I looked towards the sea and saw a boy struggling in the water. I was both shocked and stunned. My father immediately ran into the water and swam towards the boy. I was amazed at the way my father fought the strong currents. At last, my father managed to grab the boy by his chin and tow him to the shore. I do not know how he managed to swim one-handedly. When they got onto dry land, all the people who were watching cheered. The boy went back to his family. I was the happiest because I know I have a brave father.
