Rondalla Activities

1987
19 December, the NUS Rondalla performed a Christmas performance at the Marina Mandarin.

November 30th, the NUS Rondalla gave a special rondalla presentation at the CMA Auditorium, NUS. The presentation was aimed at music teachers and administrators in schools and other organisations interested in knowing more about the bature of this musical form and how to go about forming a rondalla.

The first Cassette recording "Introducing Rondalla" was recorded at CMA Studios on 22nd November 1987.

NUS Rondalla peformed "Cultural Moments with DBS Bank - the National University of Singapore Rondalla in Concert" at the DBS Auditorium on the 6th November 1987. The DBS Bank held concerts on the 2nd and last Fridays of every month.

On 7th October, the group performed a Lunch-time performance "Musical Renditions" at the LT 13, NUS.

September 12th, NUS Rondalla performed at the SDU Tea, held at the Le Meridien Hotel.

5th August, the group performed a Lunchtime concert at the Singapore Airlines 40th Anniversary Celebrations Art Festival.

18th January, NUS Rondalla was honored to perform at the wedding reception of the conductor, Josept Peters, at the Raffles Hotel.
