Gentle Angel

Gentle angel,

So wise for one so young,

The last Ancient.

Only you cared and heard

The cries of a dying Planet.

Quiet spirit,

Your compassionate eyes,

Shining like the sun.

A beacon of hope

Against the darkness of his soul.

Innocent dove,

Kneeling on

The cold, unfeeling stone

You spoke a prayer

For the world’s redemption.

Valiant soul,

Such a heavy price

To pay for the unworthy.

Yet without reproach,

You gladly gave your life.

Tranquil rose,

In full bloom,

Blown asunder by his rage.

Emerald orbs dimmed in radiance

As you bade your final farewell.

Merciful heart,

Forgiving and free.

Serene apparition,

One with the Lifestream

Living forever till eternity.
