chapter 10 ¨C let the party begins
on Saturday, XY house was full with guests¡ TZ and Barbie was making some last minute instructions to the servants with regards to the party. TZ was dressed up formally in tuxedo whereas Barbie was dressed up in her best evening gown (in pink).
Meanwhile, XY was still up in her room looking into her walk in closet undecided over what she should wear.
XY looked over to her bed, spreading on top of her bed were a ranges of evening gowns ranging from different brands and colors, from Gucci all the way to LV. She frowns upon seeing that¡ ¡®just what should I wear?¡¯ she thought. At that moment, TZ entered the room.
¡°Raine¡ here¡¯s something for you.¡± He held up a box.
¡°huh? What is it?¡± XY asked.
¡°open it up and see for yourself.¡± TZ answered. He heard a gasp from XY as she opened the box, inside the box was a beautiful evening gown.
¡°thanks! I loved it.¡± XY commented. TZ smiled at her and excuse himself from the room, however, his smile fades off when he noticed a figure standing at the edge of the stairs.
¡°mom!¡± TZ called out, as he spotted Barbie standing right behind Fan Chun Yi mumbling apology to him.
¡°why are you back?¡± TZ asked.
¡°Why? Am I not welcomed here?¡± FCY stated.
¡°Eh¡ no, you are definitely welcome¡¡± TZ said ¡®hopefully, you don¡¯t spoilt XY happiness.¡¯ He thought.
The guests has started to arrived, the first to reach is of course the YunShang gang¡ finally just half an hour before the party starts, SC and F4 arrived at XY house.
SC gasped as she saw the amount of people at the party but was eventually surprised at how formal the people who attended dressed up.
¡°Eh¡ isn¡¯t this a party for XY? But why are they dressed up so formally?¡± SC asked as she looks down upon her T-shirt and jeans¡ she felt like an odd one out. (exactly the scene replayed at DMS birthday party in MG1) F4 were dressed up formally, they were all in tux and thus looking serious.
¡°didn¡¯t I told you to wear the gown I send you? See now, what to do?¡± DMS nudge SC.
¡°how would I know that everyone would be so formal¡ isn¡¯t this XY party.¡± SC asked.
¡°it is XY party, it would only be appropriate if this party is held outside the house¡ but since it is taking place in here. It would be common sense not to wear anything that would crashed with the atmosphere.¡± Lei answered.
TZ spotted them out of the corner of his eyes and stride towards them, ¡°hi guys! Welcome to the party!¡± he take a look at F4 and when he saw SC outfit. He was in horror, if his mom wasn¡¯t around whatever SC wear would be none of his business but since his mom is back from Switzerland, it would make sense if his mom would just chase SC out. He signaled to Barbie asking her to find something for SC to wear. Barbie nodded and took SC off to her room, she opened her walk in closet trying to find something for SC and of course F4 had tag along too. SC gasped as she took in the surrounding, by the time she reach the closet she had to lean against DMS for support if not she would collapse. Barbie sort through her gowns, finally deciding upon one in light yellow. (the exact same one which DMS given to SC in MG1). She handed it over to SC, who widen her eyes when she took it from Barbie.
¡°you can have it if you want! All these colors is not to my favor, besides I didn¡¯t bought it. It was given to me a few years back then.¡± Barbie assured SC and headed over to the dressing table as she helps SC with the make up. Finally, she took one last look at SC attire and nod in approval. ¡°come let¡¯s go now!¡± she announced.
The moment they reached the bottom of the stairs they were immediately stunned by XY elegance.
¡®oh god, she looks so beautiful today!¡¯ XM thought as he took in XY appearance. Although the gown which XY wore is nothing too fancy but it was elegance and together with her lady like manners she looked so perfect, exactly like a princess. It look even more convincing when she strode in together with TZ as her escort, when both of them stand together it is almost like a fairytale. They look exactly like the Royal family, everyone was staring in awe as both of them enters the room.
At that moment, FCY enters the room with a man in tow¡ just as everyone is wondering who were they (except for YS gang¡ cause¡¯ they knew them). XY gasped, ¡®mom!¡¯ she called out.
At this SC gulps, ¡®oh my god, she looks so elegant and stunning¡ it¡¯s almost like she¡¯s the empress around here.¡¯ She watch as XY went forward to greet her mother. She had such lady-like manners that makes SC and F4 dropped their jaws. They stopped what they¡¯re doing when FCY begin to speak, ¡°Welcome, to my daughter¡¯s party¡ I hereby introduced my daughter¡¯s fianc¨¦ to everyone here!¡± everyone gasped including XY, ¡°this is Huang Shao Wei , heir to Joshua Memorial hospital.¡±
