chapter 3 ¨C explanation
F4 and SanCai were shocked to find themselves standing in front of a magnificent mansion. ¡®Oh my gosh, this place is even bigger than DMS house. Good gracious! Is this where Xiao You is going to live while she¡¯s in Taiwan.¡¯ ShanCai thought.
Actually, not just Shan Cai the rest of F4 were just as shocked as she is. Apparently, XM is getting the most impact apart from the others. He almost had to hit himself hard on his head to remind himself not to gape at the sight in front of him. Failing to do which, he had his eyes glue to the front yard of the house as if there¡¯s something interesting out there in the heaps of bushes.
Before anyone could react, they were ushered into the living room by Xiao You. Within minutes, they find themselves staring at the cakes and pastry offered by the maids.
¡°I still can¡¯t believe that there are people who are richer than Ah Si, I mean I know there are people out there who is richer than him but I never dreamt that some one who knew all this while is richer than him. Most unexpectedly, it happened to be Xiao You, Shan Cai best friend whom we used to thought that she¡¯s just like San Cai who is a normal girl from a normal family. Till now, I am still found it hard to accept the fact.¡± MZ speak up after the awkward silence that seems to sets in about them.
¡°Are you guys prepared for my explanation?¡± XY asked
¡®I hope she¡¯s not going to say that Tai Zi is her fianc¨¦ or her boyfriend¡ I don¡¯t think I can take another shocking news, that is.¡¯ XM thought. However, he find himself holding his breath as Xiao You began speaking again.
when she heard no response she continue¡ ¡°well¡ to put it simply, Tai Zi is my twin brother. He is born 3 minutes before me, but to me it seems like a whole 3 years instead. I¡¯ve been living with my god-father and god-mother ever since elementary school, so it¡¯s been a long time since I stepped in here. Both our parents are living in Canada and Switzerland respectively. My god-father and god-mother used to worked in a bank but due to DMS mom¡¯s influence, it almost cost my god-father his job. Although the crisis is over, it had caused him to lose his confidence such that he decided to migrate to Canada to work for my dad. So now he¡¯s over in Canada, helping my dad with the business over there. He has been given the job of human resources manager as part of the credit for taking care of me over the past few years. As for Tai Zi, well¡ he had left for Switzerland three years ago when he was in the second year of high school. I don¡¯t know how long he¡¯s going to stay here this time round but as for me¡ I won¡¯t be flying to Canada anytime soon. One reason is that, I just can¡¯t seems to get used to the life style the people there are leading. Another reason is that all my friends were here, and I don¡¯t see any problem of returning back to Taiwan. Oh yah¡ I forgot to mention that my god-father and my dad were friends back in high school then, that¡¯s why my dad didn¡¯t mind me living with them all these years while they have no time for me. And before I forgot, I am going to Ying De starting tomorrow.¡±
Ximen, however not hearing the rest of the explanation let out a sigh of relief as soon as he heard that TaiZi is not Xiao You boyfriend nor fianc¨¦. ¡®lucky, he¡¯s not her fianc¨¦ or boyfriend¡ just her brother. That means that I still stand a chance after all!¡¯ XM thought.
¡°Huh? You are going to Ying De, why not Yun Shang? Mom had given us the privilege to study there without even needing to had a medical leave just to cut classes.¡± (okay, guys! I know YunShang is a high school in MVP but I am going to make it into a university as well in this story. Newly-built though) Tai Zi asked.
¡°Where did you get that idea from? Anyway, I¡¯ve no friends in YunShang¡ so why even bother going there?¡± XY said.
¡°who says you didn¡¯t have friends there¡ aren¡¯t XiaoXi your friend?¡±
¡°Excuse me¡ but those are your friends if my memory does not failed me. And I only know them because you and Barbie had been introducing them to me the moment both of you dragged me into transferring to QiSui with you guys.¡± XY answered dryly.
¡°But, thanks to us¡ you get to know ShanCai there!¡± Tai Zi retorted.
¡°Yeah¡ right, and hiding my true identity being the only solution of not been out casted by the students there. And you called that helping me to make friends.¡± XY remarked.
¡°Yeah¡ right, whatever you say.¡± Tai Zi retorted back.
¡°Besides, another reason of not going to YunShang is that I want people to treat me well and liked me for who I really am and not people who liked and worship me just because my family built and owns the school thus giving me total authority to do anything I like. Just like what Ying De is about with F4 ruling the school. I does not want to rule the school, just because my family owns it.¡± XY further clarify.
¡°Okay, fine if you insist.¡± Tai Zi said.
¡°when Barbie¡¯s going to come back from New York?¡± XY asked.
¡°Erm¡ sometime this week I believed. Never mind, I want to surprise her so there¡¯s no need to tell her that I¡¯m back. I¡¯m going for my bath now, you can have yours later.¡± Tai Zi answered.
¡°that¡¯s okay. I¡¯m not having it so early¡ I still need to grab my lunch first. However, I¡¯ve to decide whether I want to have it here at home or headed out for it.¡± XY answered.
¡°fine¡¡± Tai Zi announced before heading for his bathroom.
