Next mission - to find a coin phone in busy little Orchard Road. As he walked out of Centrepoint, his fickle and ever contradicting mind decided that ,’ No, technology isn’t good ! ‘. Almost everybody has handphones ( in all shapes, sizes and Ah-Beng-ish melodies ) nowadays in our green city, that society ignores us without the use of the gadget in question. We the UNMOBILE people of Singapore are ignored and not catered to…..Well, Mr Sociologist cum Cynist all rolled into one would have continued with his mental ramblings had he not chanced upon the supposedly elusive coin-a-phone seating comfortably outside Orchard Emerald’s Burger King.

‘Hi, where are you ? I’ve been in town for about an hour max.’

‘What ?! Still at home ?! Best lah you…..nairmind, forget it, I’ll just head on home first.’
