I know I've got a few down days in
there. Most of NH seemed like it was down days, but I slacked
packed as mush as I could in NH. After getting the results
from the blood test back from the hospital, I decided that since
they were going to put me on 3 antibiotics that I better start
pushing toward the Vermont - Mass line so that I could finish up. |
It is not much fun if your out on the trail
and you have diarrhea and stomach cramps from medication. I
decided I was going to hop a bus into Gorham, which I did.
Went to Concord, NH and from there I got a bus to Hanover and from
Hanover I got a bus to Retiling Vermont where I stayed at the hostel
over night and then I caught the Vermont transit to Manchester
Center, then a bus into Pennington Vermont. I'm going to be
meeting my husband in Pennington Vermont and I going to start
hiking from route 9 on the AT back to N. Adams to Williamstown area
back up to Mt. Gray lock, which is about 2 to 3 days. From
that point I'm going to go into Bob and Laura Garrity house. for
the evening. |
The reason I had to do this was because I
had to go back to the doctor in 10 days and have some more blood
tests to make sure that my liver is functioning properly. |
I stayed last night a the Pennington-Adam
Inn. Then I'll be staying at the Greenwood Inn and campsite.
That is where my husband is coming into. I will be meeting him
and taking off on to the AT the next day to finish up and I will be
reporting from there. |
