(Students have written a letter composed of 4 paragraphs: About Me, About My School, About My Community (Calgary) and a wrap-up paragraph. We have written each paragraph according to the following process: 1) create a plan 2) write first draft 3) self-edit first draft (using C.O.P.S.- reading the paragraph over to improve use of Capitals, Organization, Punctuation and Spelling) 4) peer-edit first draft (using C.O.P.S.) 5) teacher edit first draft 6) if necessary, write second draft. -Journal Entry: no new journal
