Welcome to the Problem of the Week (P.O.T.W.)!!!

DIVISION & PICTOGRAPHING

At the beginning of this unit we worked on the pictograph on page 125 of our textbook.  Your problem is to come up with a pictograph of your own.  You do not need the textbook for this exercise…use your notes from the work on that day.  Be inventive with your pictograph.  Here are some simple ideas…count the number of peas you spear with your fork when you eat your supper…count the number of goals you scored each month last year…count the number of shirts you sold for your hockey team each day for a week… Make your pictograph look outstanding (use the art techniques that have been taught this year).  ASK three questions about your pictograph based on the questions on page 125 of your textbook.  ANSWER your three questions.  All your work must be on the one page that Mr. Myers gives you (only one side, too!) as they will be posted in the room or in the hall.  Think of an appropriate title for your pictograph.  The following rubric will be used to evaluate your pictograph.
