When I had the shop built last year, I had a shell for an apartment built on the second floor. Now that we are between houses, the time has come to finish it off quick. I only have two months to make the place livable, while supervising construction on the house too. Below are two before pictures.
The job list breaks down to the following: Roof, deck, staircase, windows and doors, electrical, plumbing, kitchen cabinets, and floor. I do things in a sort of a weird seeming random order, but there is a logic to it all. Generator time is expensive so, I do all my machining during milking when the generator is on anyway. Materials bought in town are expensive so I can only work with materails I have from my last trip to Santiago. Finially, I need tons of good dry wood for the windows and doors of the house so I hoard the good stuff and use the wet stuff for rafters. Anyway, that is why everything seems so chaotic.
