	The Academy of Saint Gabriel		The Academy of Saint Gabriel does historical research on names and heraldry, primarily for history hobbyists interested in re-creating medieval and Renaissance Western cultures. The Academy will give you information about the authenticity of your name or arms; and if they believe it could be more authentic, they will suggest ways to improve it. However, they cannot help you with questions about genealogy or family arms. They also generally do not help people trace the origins of modern surnames.

	Behind the Name		Extensive site on name etymology and history. Generally seems to be well researched, although not many references provided with each source.
	20,000 names		Names filed by nationality, some by 'special category'. All are then subdivided my male and female. Not sure who is responsible for this site, but if it is the author of the book of the same name, beware the research.
	Baby Chatter		Fairly standard 'name-the-baby' site. Nothing special, but nothing too awful either... Some odd definitions or 'mythical' wrongs perpetuated.
	Baby Name World		Names filed by nationality, some by 'Unique Names'. Not much use if you are searching for individual names, but OK for an overview of names of a certain origin.
	Baby Names World		Claims to have indexed more than 11,000 names. Has Fora and discussiion groups. Searchable and browsable database. SQL doesn't seem to work on quicksearch function as both genders [20-01-05]. Ratings system is interesting.
