You then see the fair maiden Veronica coming up the stairs. You feel incredibly embaressed. You're on your hands and knees, like a servant, shining a guard's shoes. How pathetic. You immediately get up, and take a bow, while saying, "Good morrow, beautiful maiden." "Yeah yeah, get back to work, squire." Says ol' 'Too unimportant to remember his name' guy. Damn. The maiden looks at you, smiles, and giggles, while continuing her way up the stairs. If only the big lug weren't there. Oh well. A few minutes later, you're done shining his shoes.
