You figure that Sarah isn't the devil incarnate and that she might be asking Liz for homework help or just casual girl talk.. You decide to stay with your man, ahead in the lunch line. "So, Eric.." "Yes?" He replies. "Do you have any football games coming up?" You ask. "Oh yeah.. Umm, next month on the 23rd I think. You want to go or something?" He says in a friendly way. Your heart skips a beat. "Sure." You say. "Cool, I'll see if I can get you a free ticket." He tells you. 'Wow!,' you think. 'A FREE TICKET just for ME!' "Wow, thanks Eric." You say to him. You two then get up to the front of the line and get your food, and he points at a table with three guys sitting down at it, and asks if you want to sit with him and you tell him you do. Everything seems to be going just fine. You sit down across from him so you can have a nice view and are able to look into his beautiful brown eyes. You two talk, and Eric introduces you to his friends. Everything is going well. That is.. Until you see Sarah and Liz walking to the table. "Hey" Liz says to you. "Hey Liz.. Come sit down." She tells you she just wanted to say hi, but she has to go now. And you wonder why, but don't say anything. You just say "Okay, bye Liz!" And return to your conversation with Eric about football. However, Sarah is still there, and Eric invites her to sit down next to him. She gives you this "Ha, I'm better than you" look. You try to ignore it, and decide to make Sarah jealous by saying, "So about those free tickets you said you'd give me, Eric.." "Yeah, I can get like 2 if you want, from the coach." He replies. "How many can you get, in general, for people?" You ask. "Oh, about four or so." He answers. Sarah says, "Eric already got me front row tickets for myself and two other friends. Hmm, that's three.. I guess you'll just have to go alone." She says with an extremely fake smile. The lunch bell rings, and you go to your last class which is boring as hell. You do some of your homework, then go home. You want to call Eric but you're not sure if you should or not. |
