Welcome to my futile attempt to list the Guthrie Family.  If you know of any Guthries I've missed (which I'm sure I have) feel free to email me.

Thomas Guthrie: Thomas was the father of the Guthrie family.  He was a coal miner who eventually died, most likely due to his job ( think he had lung cancer).  Upon his death he left Sam responsible for being the "man of the family" & go to work in the coal mines to support the family & the farm.

Momma Guthrie: Lucinda Guthrie is the Loving mother of the Guthrie Family & somehow holds them together, & makes sure everyone has food, clothes, a roof over their head & lots of love.  Momma Guthrie loves all her children & is proud of Sam & Paige for using their special gifts to help others.  Momma Guthrie respects the work that Professor Charles Xavier & his X-men do, especially since they helped her two children learn to develop there gifts.

Samuel Guthrie: Samuel Guthrie is the eldest boy in the Guthrie family.  He was responsible for helping to raise all of the little Guthries & is much loved by all his brothers & sisters.  Sam went to work in the coal mines when his father died to help support the family.  He & his fellow miners were almost trapped in a cave in & had it not been for the fact that Sam's mutant powers manifested & he would have died in the mines.  He saved his fellow miners & went on to develop his powers with the Hellions.  For more info on Sam, see his Biography page.

Paige Guthrie: Paige Guthrie is the only other Guthrie (so far) to have shown to have a mutant gift.  She seems to be the eldest girl in the Guthrie Family.  She is very proud of her brother Sam & wants to grow up to make him proud of her, learn how to better used her special gifts & become an X-man like Sam.  For more on Paige, see her Biography page.

Joshua Guthrie: Josh Guthrie is the next boy in line, after Sam.  After Sam left, Josh went to work in the mines to help support the family.

Elizabeth Guthrie: Not much is known about 'Lisabeth, except she does make a few appearances.

Joelle Guthrie:

Joelle is a Guthrie sister that is not content to live in the shadows of her two "special" siblings.  At one point, Joelle wanted to stand out so much that she ended up dating a man who was involved with an antimutant cult.  When Sam & Paige were almost killed by this cult, Joelle left her then boyfriend & the cult & made up with Sam & Paige.  She's lovingly referred to as 'Elle by her family.

Jebediah Guthrie: Not much is known about Jeb, except he does make a few appearances.  I think he wears glasses.
