No face. Well, half a face. His X-gene manifested & the psionic energy that was inside of him blew a hole through his chest, taking his chest, his jaw & the lower half of his face, crippling his girlfriend who had been with him at the time.

Why is he on this site despite the fact that he recently became a member of the X-Men? Because he has a thing for Paige, (psst...one of the Guthries). I also have always loved the character, his appearance, his abilities & his battle within himself.
