About Ammunition
This is our explaination on how the ammo system works.
Ammunition Slots
Basically each frame has a certain amount of spaces that they can hold ammo clips in. 1 ammo slot= the amount of space a pistol clip or small plasma cartridge takes up. 2 ammo slots = the amount of space a machine gun clip or a medium plasma cartridge takes up. 4 ammo slots = the amount of space chain gun rounds or a large plasma cartridge takes up. So if a frame has 8 ammo slots, it can hold 8 small cartridges, 4 medium cartridges or 2 large cartridges, or a mix, such as a large cartridge and 4 small cartridges. Some guns can carry more than one clip inside them, and while they are in the gun they don't take up any ammo slots.
Plasma Cartidges - energy
Plasma cartidges have a certain energy rating. Small has 100, Medium has 150, and Large has 200. A gun uses one of those three sizes of cartridge to power its shots. Each gun takes up a different amount of energy from the cartridge, so a gun that uses 8 energy per shot and uses a small cartridge would use up the cartridge with approximately 12 shots. one that uses 5 per shot uses up a small cartridge with 20 shots, and so on.
