Jobs


Your job is how you get money. Without one, you're screwed. Here's a list of them, what they are, and stuff like that. If I have forgotten any, tell me and I'll put it up.


Normal Jobs: Waitress, gardener, garbage man, etc. Low paying (at least by our standards) and if you have a job like this, you're not going to be able to afford a mech or weapons for one. We don't keep track of buying of "small" items such as handguns, food, and things like that, so we don't need to decide how much money you get, you can do it yourself, in your posts. And keep it reasonable ^_^.

Mercenary: Independent, takes on work for the highest bidder. Sqeamishness and sympathy are detrimental. Bounty hunters and hit men(women) fall under this category also. Very high paying, but you get paid by the job (amount decided by mods)

Crime Lord: You head an organization of criminals, lowlifes, and thieves. It takes work (meaning lots of posts) to get here, and if you are interested contact JoKu at his SN, Jess Firestar or his email, jedi_joku@hotmail.com .

Blue Marz Associate: You deal with Blue Marz in selling or buying things such as munitions, food, illegal items, and other things.

Soldier: Either for Blue Marz or Nadare, you work for them by fighting. Your salary/money you earn goes into the faction account, which you can draw from to buy equipment. Benefits include housing, food, and access to maintenance facilities. Soldiers are the ranks of Private, Corporal, and Sergeant. High paying job.

Officer: Again, for Blue Marz or Nadare. You still fight but have rank and can command battle groups. Benefits are better quarters and more access to the faction account for buying equipment. This is from the 2nd Lieutenant up in the military. Very high paying job.

Ranks: These are the positions, in order of rank, in the military of Nadare and Blue Marz.

Blue Marz have three positions above these listed. The first is Grand Admiral, which there are only five of at one time. Then, equal in rank, at the very top, are the Class D Pilots and Blue Steel. Class D pilots fly the biggest of the frames, the Class D's. The Blue Steel are a mysterious group and they and the Class D Pilots answer only to Savis, the leader of Blue Marz.
