What we expect
from you:
We expect
all of our members to have fun and to be completely honest. This rpg
allows any kind of dirty language you enjoy to provide to the entertainment.
Expect to be mocked while roleplaying. Don't take things offensively.
We don't enjoy winers. If you have a problem with someone for some reason,
confront them. If the problem continues and it's really irritating you,
then contact a GM (GameMaster).

What are the
Abilities Good For?
Str -- Strength determines how much damage you inflict
on your opponant
Spd -- Speed determines who goes first and how many
times you can attack
Agl -- Agility determines how many dodges you have
and how much VP you gain upon leveling up
Def -- Defense determines how many blocks you have
and how much Hp you gain upon leveling up
Int -- Intelligence determines how many Sp you
gain, how much Mana you have, what level of spells you may cast, how much damage your spells inflict, and
how many languages you know
Mana -- Your energy to cast spells. This is Hp for
the use of spells, in other words. To discover how much Mana you have,
Int x 2 = Mana. Simple as that!

Fighting:
To fight, simply challenge someone. During battle, you take turns. The
person with the highest Spd (Speed) goes first.
You both go back and forth sending attacks until someone reaches 0 Hp
(Hit Points). Your character starts out with 1
block and 1 dodge while your Spd (Speed) and Agl
(Agility) start at Lv.1. Blocks reduce the damage
by 1/2 while you take no damage while dodging. Once someones Hp reaches
0, that person is KOed, or disabled, and is unable to fight for the
next 2 days. After 2 days, the character has fully recovered and may
find someone to fight again, if he wishes. Remember, if you have healing
items, you may use that after the fight if you don't want to wait for
2 whole days to heal naturally.

Stealing/Taking Items from Beaten Opponants:
After you beat an opponent, you have 3 choices. 1) Do nothing and leave him there. 2) Take some Gp. 3) Take an item. There is a limit as to what you can take, however. If you wish to take Gp, the maximum amount you can take is your character level x 100. Example: a lv. 5 fighter takes 500 Gp from his opponant (5 x 100 = 500). When you're taking an item, you go by maximum value. To calculate this, it is your character level x 50 instead. Example: a lv. 10 barbarian steals his opponants item, worth a max of 500 (10 x 50 = 500).

Travel Time:
To travel from land to land takes 2 days. If you're going from city to city it takes 1 day of travel. If you're going from land to land, there is a 50 Gp fee, due to rations, transportion needs and other such necessities

Armor and Weapons:
Armor and weapons aid you in dealing more damage to an opponant, or
shrugging off on-coming attacks. To determine how much damage a weapon
deals depends on the type of weapon and type of material. Remember this
with armor, the better the DR (Damage Reduction),
the more likely it is to weigh you down, meaning that your Spd and Agl
will drop since it's a lot harder to move around in armor. This can
lower your ability level, either by taking away a block or dodge, or
even both. This is the same concept with weapons. The more powerful
the weapons is, the harder it is to defend yourself. Your defense level
can decrease. However, if you do not have the appropriate special ability for that type of armor or weapon, the affects against you are doubled.
"There is no strength without weakness..."
Aging:
Over time, your character obviously ages. There are benefits
as well as negatives to this. As you grow older, you become weaker and
slower, while becoming more intelligent. Here is a little chart on the
rules of aging...
Aging
Affects |
Age |
Negatives |
Benefit |
Young Adult |
N/A |
N/A |
Adult |
+5% Str |
N/A |
Middle-Aged |
-10% Str, Spd |
+15% Int |
Old |
-10% Str, Spd |
+15% Int |
Venerable |
-15% Str, Spd |
+20% Int |
You will notice that as you get older, you're Strength raises slightly,
but then drops. As you become venerable, you'll notice its a total 30%
loss to Str and a 35% loss to Spd, while gaining a 50% increase to Int.
