Chaos

mostly it comes from love
love that's not sure
but every other day clinging
to how things were

look at those pictures
those were happy days
but there's so much now
so many other ways

chaos is life and change
interruptions of emotion
when you're certain of a tunnel
a bridge brings another notion

corruption of data
more new technology
a trade to learn
yet another philosophy

just to open your eyes in the morning
and receive new information
chaos in the mind, across the wave
of the radio station

confusion stems from chaos
alas, if I could only
wake up alone in silence
without being lonely

but there is no escape from the world
and the earth-quakes of existence
he said I looked like I could shatter
even a statue can't keep the distance
and will crumble in chaotic persistence
