Showing

In the Spotlight : A Guide to Showing Pedigreed and Household Pet Cats

A wonderful book for anyone interested in showing cats! It covers everything from the obvious - grooming and preparation - to a detailed description of the titles and awards offered by four major cat registries. It is also one of the only cat showing books that focusses on household pets. It is currently out of print, but Amazon has a great search service. A book to treasure if you can locate it!

This book provides solid information and sound advice from two experts who offer instruction on every aspect of showing, from choosing a breed to understanding showing and scoring procedures. Excellent reference, may be currently out of print, but worth the effort of locating.

Mixed-Breed Cats : Everything About Purchase, Care, Nutrition, Health Care, Behavior, and Showing (Complete Pet Owner's Manual)
by Karen Leigh Davis, Tana Hakanson Monsalve (Illustrator)
