Just My Most Personal Thoughts
No matter how you come, I hope you leave feeling a little more loved.
I wish I could pay her.......

This will probably sound selfish and self-absorbed, but, there is a little of that in me, so I will not complain.

I love my best friend, really I do.  And it is not because of the reasons that most people love their best friends, (was there for me when needed, has strong shoulder to cry on, etc... even though those things and many more are true about her).  My best friend is the best personal assistant anyone could ever ask for.

If I ask her what I wore to church last sunday, she can remember, down to the shoes.

If I tell her I am looking for something to wear with my dark demin jeans, she will ask me which pair, Levi's or Lane Bryant, and then proceed to name possible outfits based on her knowledge of my closet, without being there, all the way down to undergarments, shoes, and jewelry.

An immediate death this summer resulted in my having to leave to go to New York with only 4 hours notice.  My best friend came over to say "have a safe trip", (because she is sweet and thoughtful, too), and upon seeing that I was not packed or showered, pushed me into the shower, looked at my clothes that I had picked out, ironed them, packed matching undergarments, had coordinating fragrances lined up for me to pick which I wanted to bring, (all of which were great, but due to space constraints I could only bring one).  She also packed my husbands stuff, made sure that he had undershirts and boxer briefs for every day that we would be gone, plus an extra, packed his sleep garments, socks and only had to ask which deodorant he preferred.

I know, I should feel blessed, which I do, and I should maybe feel ashamed, which I don't, for having such a great free personal assistant, who will even call and remind me when my Fav. TV shows are coming on and when my Fav. stores are having sales, has my birthday pre-marked on her calendar for the next 2 years, (although I have a lot to do with the 4-month countdown on the months preceeding), can remember the last time I had my hair relaxed...I could go on and on.

Since I cannot pay her for her wonderfulness, I figured, I would do the next best thing...Give her credit in front of the whole world!!!  I know she is great, but no, she is not taking outside appointments Image.
