D. H. is out of town for 4 days
I am very sad about that, but I know that work is what pays. I have been hanging out at home, doing a lot of nothing. I am not sure that I gave a thought for this week so here one goes.
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
Sometimes what hurts us the most is what is the best thing for us, at the time. When you have your heart broken, it seems like the world around you is shattering, you just want to lay in bed and die. But as days move forward, you realize that, painfully, life goes on. In a few days, weeks, months, it doesn't hurt like it used to, it doesn't matter like it used to and seeing that person who walked away has no bearing on how good or bad your day is. When you lift weights or exercise, the same things happens. You feel the burn and you think, I cannot do this any more, but the more you endure the pain and you work it out, you get stronger. It is good for you in the end. You realize that you can do it, you CAN make it.
Remember: All things work to the good of them that love the Lord. Look for the lesson and the blessing. If you shift your focus, you change your reward.
Be blessed.
