Just in time for our Anniversary Weekend D.H. and I decided to post our Vows for our blog entry(ies), [he will have them on his 360, and I on mine].  (I promise no more wedding stuff for at least 3 months.)

Clifton:

It is my commitment to receive Shani to my side, to love her, care for her, to open my life to her and to be the Spiritual Leader in the home.

Shani:

It is my commitment to receive Clifton as my Spiritual Head and to be submissive to his leadership as his supportive and loving wife.

With this ring I commit my love to you. As I love the Lord, so do I love you.  I receive you as God’s gift to me; I receive every quality of your life as purposed by God to perfect home, spiritually, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.  I will seek to support and encourage you through each life challenge.  All that is mine is your until death parts us.

I love the fact that my vows are special, spiritually based and real.  I am not a slave to my husband, but I am submitted to his spiritual authority in our home.
