A fantastic concert! But I'm biased because I was there, four feet from the stage. :-) The first of five in a row, now-legendary small club concerts in Los Angeles. The sound is perfect to me; the atmosphere is really high. Some of the songs were officially released, though this recording is not THAT wonderful. The last six tracks are filler from two nights later, at the same place. Highlights of the night: "This Wheel's On Fire", "Cocaine Blues", "Cold Irons Bound". [Two discs; Complete set; audience recording]

A pretty good show - the setlist is somewhat standard, but the sound quality is wonderful, and the performance strong. Also Van Morrison joins in on "Knocking On Heaven's Door"! Other highlights are a magical "Girl of the North Country" and a perfect "Love Sick". Is "Desolation Row" ever not terrific? The second disc is short, and I filled it with a bunch of outtakes like "Freeze Out" and "My Blue Eyed Jane (Emmylou Harris outtake)" and some other cool stuff.[Two discs; Complete set; soundboard recording?]
